The best!
I absolutely love this oil! I use it in roller bottles for myself and as gifts, everyone loves the smell. My little one calls it "happy oil" and asks for it all the time. So good diffused and in the bath. I'd say it is very much like Peace and Calming from YL, but better imo

Is this, and other blends, used as is, since they are in a base of Coconut Oil, or do I need to dilute them more with a carrier oil?

Tranquility

BEST ANSWER: Hello! We do recommend still diluting it with carrier oil to get to a 98% dilution rate. That equals about 1-3 drops of the blend or essential oil for every 1/2 teaspoon of carrier oil.
Thanks!

Can this be used on my anxious dog?
BEST ANSWER: Hello!
At this time, we have found insufficient research about using essential oils on or around domestic animals, including procedures and possible reactions. Because of this lack of research, we are unable to advise how to use essential oils with pets.
For more information, we are happy to suggest some great books! Please see below:
- The Animal Desk Reference: Essential Oils for Animals, by Melissa Shelton, DVM

Can this oil be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding?

Tranquility

BEST ANSWER: Good question! Essential oils are very beneficial for our bodies most of the time. Pregnancy is a special time when customers need to be aware of some changing circumstances. When used properly many essential oils can be safe for pregnant and nursing women, however, we always recommend talking with a trusted medical professional or aromatherapist before usage. For help finding an Aromatherapist in your area, visit the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy:

It is important to acknowledge that there are standard safe practices in regards to using essential oils while pregnant. Luckily, we have a great blog post that goes over some big things to keep in mind. This post includes oils to stay away from, oils that are generally safe, as well as some recommended recipes to use during pregnancy. Feel free to check it out through the link below:

Can u swallow these oils ?
BEST ANSWER: Excellent question! Essential oils are very potent and can be dangerous if not used correctly. All of our oils are 100% pure, natural, and authentic. They are of the quality to be taken internally. However, we cannot provide dosing suggestions or directions on how to ingest if you choose to do so. If you do choose to ingest the oils, we suggest consulting an Aromatherapist or trusted health professional for guidance. Follow the link below for help finding an aromatherapist.

Why is the oil green?
BEST ANSWER: Tranquility does have a natural green/blue tint to it! This is from the Chamomile and Blue Tansy in the blend. Blue Tansy is known to have a very dark and ink like blue tint and German Chamomile can have a blue/green tint.
Thanks!

I'm sorry. I asked a question about the new formula of Tranqulity. Lavender is in it but not the german chamomile. Does is have the same scent as the original?
BEST ANSWER: About 2 years ago there was a world wide shortage on pure Blue Tansy essential oil. Because of this all of our blends that contained Blue Tansy were reformulated with a German/Roman Chamomile mix.
In August 2016 were able to get a pure Blue Tansy that met our quality standards, so it has been added back into the blends that previously contained this oil. Aligning, Calming, Tranquility, True Blue, Etc. All have Blue Tansy.

How many drops should you use in a diffuser and how much distilled water?
BEST ANSWER: Hello!
We generally recommend using 5-10 of E.O. per 100ml of water in an Ultrasonic Diffuser. However, it is largely up to personal preference. Feel free to play with it and see what's best for you.

Hi, would this be blend be safe to use for children? If so, could I diffuse or apply topically?
BEST ANSWER: Hello!
The Tranquility blend is safe to use on children 2-5 years of age and older. Diffusion is the safest method of use, but you do need to keep children out of the direct line of mist. We also recommend diffusing in 30-60 minute intervals with ample break periods for safe and effective use. If topical application is desired, always start small and analyze the child’s skin for any possible reaction. If you would like to learn more about dilution rates for children, please visit our dilution page linked below:
https://www.rockymountainoils.com/dilution-rate
We recommend starting at a baseline of 0.5% dilution for children and from there working up to a 1% dilution rate if needed.

Will you ever go back to making the Tranquility formula with chamomile instead of blue tansy even if you give it a different name? I really loved that formula since the blue tansy smell is a little overpowering in this blend.

Calming: Tangerine, Ylang Ylang, Orange , Blue Tansy, and Patchouli
Tranquility: Orange, Tangerine, Patchouli, Lime, Blue Tansy, Ylang Ylang, Lavender, and Citronella

Is this pure essential oil or is it in a carrier oil? The description leads me to believe pure EO, but an answer from RMO on a question states it is in a carrier oil.
BEST ANSWER: Hello!
This essential oil blend does not contain FCO, however, when using this blend for topical application, we recommend using a carrier oil to help the therapeutic properties be absorbed into the bloodstream.
Thanks!
