Cedrus atlantica is endangered in its native habitat, and C. libani is also vulnerable to extinction. What is the source material for this oil? I love the smell of cedar and would like to find an ethically sourced oil, e.g. tree-farm grown and not harvested in the wild.

Is this oil therapeutic grade? Can I add a drop to coconut milk or coconut oil and eat it?
Monica R on Nov 12, 2017
BEST ANSWER: We do not use the term Therapeutic Grade as this is not a regulated term or certification. However, we can always guarantee that our essential oils are 100% pure, natural, authentic and therapeutic essential oils. We work very closely with our sources, whom are experts, to be sure that we are getting the highest quality and purity possible. The farms that produce our essential oils have either gone through the process to become organically certified or the products are harvested in their natural habitats using only 100% pure and natural practices.

Essential oils are very potent and can be dangerous if not used correctly. We cannot provide dosing suggestions or directions on how to ingest if you choose to do so.

If you do choose to ingest the oils, we suggest consulting an Aromatherapist or trusted health professional for guidance.

Thanks-

Is this safe to diffuse with cats in the house?
Alexie C on May 11, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Good question! At this time, we have found insufficient research about using essential oils on or around domestic animals, including procedures and possible reactions. Because of this lack of research, we are unable to advise how to use essential oils with pets.

For more information, we are happy to suggest some great books! Please see below:
